Dragon books! I mean, who doesn't love a book about dragons? Here are some of my favorites. Leave your own in the comments....
This series is a must read for all dragon lovers, seriously. I have every single book and am excitingly waited for the next book The Lost Continent. It may seem like a long read, but it is totally worth it! My two favorite dragons are Glory the Rainwing from the 3rd book (top middle) and Moon the Nightwing from the 6th book (bottom left). The different tribes of dragons are Mudwings, Seawings, Rainwings, Nightwings, and Sandwings. In the beginning of all the books there is a part that has pictures of all the different types of dragons and their characteristics. There is a big war between three Sandwing sisters that are fighting for the throne. All the dragon tribes are fighting on sides except for the lazy Rainwings. Five dragonets (small dragons), also known as the Dragonets of Destiny, are here to stop this war and determine the Sandwing Queen. Who will be throned as Queen and what consequences await? Find out in this amazing page turner and read this for yourself!!! This series might be my all time favorite dragon series, and I hope it's your's to!!!
The Last Dragon Chronicles was an amazing book series that I couldn't get my nose out of. It takes place on Earth (that sounds weird) and makes you wonder if dragons really are on the Earth, preserved somewhere. I didn't read the last 3 books because Dark Fire (see bottom left of pic) had a good cliff hanger ending, (literally) and I had other books I wanted to read. I suggest reading the rest of the books, and when you do or if you already have, please write down in the descriptions what you think so other people can share in all the dragon fun
The Inheritance Cycle is an awesome book series that I read awhile ago. The books are very thick like Harry Potter but there's only 4 of them. I have watched all of The Lord of the Rings, and this book series is similar. But with more dragons!! The main character is a boy named Eragon and he finds a turquoise stone in the woods. But one day he figures out it isn't a stone, and that it is actually a dragon egg. The egg then hatches and there is a beautiful safire dragon named Safira. Eragon then has to raise Safira in secret. But when something terrible happens, Eragon is forced to flee on Safira and take shelter with the elves. Find out what adventures await him and Safira in this action packed series!!! (the dragons are awesome!!)
